Refusing to succumb to the lethal boredom of Southern PA, Matt “UgLy” McGlade found life sustaining joy in the arms of performing live music in his band Royal Noise Brigade (who were much beloved at Musikfest for several years), and creating his own sci-fi horror shorts via the lens of an old dusty camcorder.  When the time to escape came, UgLy and his new band, Mistakes, found solace in the streets of Brooklyn where the acting bug blossomed into the unstoppable fiend it is today.  From a post-Willy, Biff Loman, to a hippie activist out to expose the horrors of human testing. Your friendly neighborhood android, or the skeeziest reverend you’ll ever meet, UgLy has found himself in the shoes of just about everything.  Currently UgLy is in production playwriting for USS ASH (a WWII Naval play) as well as getting his hands filthy writing lascivious eldritch horror.
